Ron Yee
- Dance Director
Mr. Yee is a 2 time championship event winner at USBC, and has superior experience in American & International Standard style dance. Ron has also trained many certified dance professionals, and has served as an adjudicator and invidulator at many events throughout his career, as well as a dance coach to competitors. as well as an ongoing dance coach. Throughout his career, Ron has had the privilege of being brought up through the ranks by world class dance masters, such as Bryan and Susan Puttock, Hilda Lanza, Vernon Brock, Kenny & Mirian Welchm and Chris Morris. As a result he brings a tremendous body of ballroom technique and skills to Ballroom Addiction. Ron Yee will settle for nothing less than the best when it comes to imparting proper Ballroom instruction to his students.
Hilda Lanza
- Dance Consultant
Many are familiar with Hilda Lanza's unbelievable dance career. Showing a keen interest in Ballroom Dancing at a very young age, Hilda is now recognized as one of Ballroom Dancing's legendary top professionals. Among her accomplishments; competing at a top tier level in Professional International Standard Dance at Blackpool (the world's most elite competition); becoming a long standing member of the highly prestigious Imperial Society; registered as an adjudicator and as such is qualified to judge any sanctioned competition. Ms. Lanza has owned and operated several dance studios over the years, has been on staff at UNLV, and now currently serves as an official examiner for the DVIDA Certification program.
Jillina Barrera

The vibrant, young and talented Jillina has trained under the careful instruction of Mr. Ron Yee himself. Not one to rest on her laurels, Jillina enthusiastically pursues additional specialty coaching from Ron Yee and Hilda Lanza. Being fluent in American Smooth, and rhythm dance, Jillina has come a long way in her dance career, and is easily one of the most talented dancers in the state. Additionally our lovely Jillina is fluent in International Latin & Standard dance. Jillina has a contagious love of dance, and it's hard to not have a great time in her classes because of it!

Tim Perez - Country Western Instructor A retired competitor, Tim Perez is an expert dancer at Country Western, and is recognized as one of the top dancers in his field. Over the past 20 years TIm has competed, coached and judged around the country. Since age 11 Tim has had a strong passion for Country Western dance, and now teaches three different classes (two-step, line dance, west coast swing) at Ballroom Addiction! Hip-Hop instruction from an industry insider, Gene Lopez!
Gene 'Gio' Lopez - Hip-Hop Instructor Born in Detroit, Michigan and raised on a steady diet of Motor City Rock and Mowtown mixed with freestyle music and west coast rap/hip hop - Gio is no stranger to the stage. He was classically trained in several disciplines of dance by Joe Tremaine Dance Center, The Edge Los Angeles, and Morro-Landis Studio City and has been on tour both nationally and abroad. Producing and choreographing for music groups, recording artists, and show teams across the country has been his passion for years. Gio has had the pleasure of dancing on shows and working with artists such as Christian Audigier, Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Bay City Rollers, Michael Buble, Mark Curry, Andrew Dice Clay, Gilbert Gottfried, Rich Little, Twisted Sister, Flavor Flav, Joe Frasier, Macy Gray, T.I., Carmen Electra, Jamie King, Debelah Morgan, Stevie B, Lani Misalucha, Earl Turner, Trent Carlini, Greg London, The Scintas, Santa Fe & the Fat City Horns, and Arnel Pineda of Journey to name a few, as well as serving as talent judge for the Miss Pre Teen USA Pageant. He has appeared in and worked on films such as Ocean's 11, Venus In Vegas, The Label, Revenge of the Space Pandas, and The Green Mile. Gio is currently in Las Vegas producing/choreographing a new hip hop/r&b pop group and he's bringing his dance experience to Ballroom Addiction in an Intro to Hip Hop class for ages 12 and up. Come scratch the surface of the ever-revolving style of Hip Hop and embark on an adventure in dance with your guide Gio.
